Cadillac lifts the curtain on the all

Mar 17, 2024Mar 17, 2024

Cadillac has made it no secret that it is working on an all-electric version of the Escalade SUV. After teasing the vehicle for weeks and weeks, the American automotive brand has now lifted the curtain on this very upcoming car.

Known as the Escalade IQ, Cadillac promises that the vehicle will offer a "redefined luxury SUV experience", all on top of boasting a 450-mile range, a reimagined interior and exterior, and zero exhaust emissions.

The car will be powered by a 24-module Ultium battery that promises to kick out more than 200 kWh of energy, while being able to be quickly charged using 800-volt DC fast-charging, allowing for 100 miles of range in just 10 minutes of charge time.

In terms of raw information, Cadillac states the Escalade IQ is capable of 750 bhp, 785 lb-ft of torque, 0-60 mph in less than five seconds, and up to 8,000 pounds of towing strength.

There's no specific mention of a release date for the car, but considering it is regarded as a 2025 model, likely expect it to debut sometime next year.
